Hang-tagging that is! Oh my people, I visited the scrapbook section of my local Michaels store, and lo and behold amongst the myriad of papers I found the most amazing thing: Amy Butler paper! A humongous card stock weight, double sided pad of Amy Butler paper for $7.50. Amazing. So I went to the printer and had them print a simple logo with my website, cut them out with scallop scissors, a bit of glue stick, hole punching and ribbon, and voila, hangtags. Mighty pretty eh? I think that when people see those awesome tags hanging from my bags, they won't care how much it costs. They'll automatically perceive the value in it. At least that's what I'm hoping! Using a bit of marketing trickery. Here's a couple of pics of my progress so far. And one of the said tags hanging from the end result of 2 days of non-stop sewing. I really love looking at the bags en masse, it's very gratifying.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful Labor Day Weekend, you know what I'll be doing... :)

oh lisa!! i'll gladly fall for your marketing tricks!! LOL :) you are making so much progress!! and..ahem...ya know...if no one's claimed the green and orange bag (4th from left) ummmm....can i buy it? LOL

That must be so satisfying seeing them all lined up in a row like that! Your bags are gorgeous. The Amy Butler tags are fantastic too...I recently discovered my local fabric store had a lone roll of Amy Butler material (Duckegg French Wallpaper)mixed in with all the run-of-the-mill gloomy fabrics...you sort of expect big signs announcing you are the presence of such gorgeousness, but stumbling upon it can be all the more satisfying! But $7.50 - what a bargain!

I love your new tags... so perfect for your bags!! I had Amy Butler paper before I knew she made fabric. That's how new I am to the sewing scene.
Is the bag with the rounded bottom an Amy Butler pattern?

I fell for the Amy Butler paper when I saw it, too. :) Making tags with it is a great idea! Your bags look lovely and the tags look terrific on them. I wish I lived nearby and could go to the craft fair.
