I just adore this scarf and if I had the extra money I would soooo buy it!! I'll keep an eye out for more in the future. :o)

hi, the link to your etsy shop directs to the log in page not the shop. the same happens on your flickr. love the scarf and colors.

Beth

I love the embroidered yoyo on your scarf! It's a beautiful project.

I thought of you today as I was shopping for fabric at my local quilt store. I noticed that I had a couple of brown/pink and brown/blue fabrics in my hand. :)

Ashley

Oh so pretty! :) I L-O-V-E the silk ruffle on the end, and the yo-yo. Great Job.

Meg

What a chic scarf. I think the ruffle MAKES it!

Samantha

Oooh, that's a fabulous scarf! Maybe you'll feel more like quilting when the temp drops?

kat

I live in the northeast too and can't believe how hot it is! I want the cool fall temps we had a few weeks ago.

Scarf = gorgeous.

Can't wait to see your quilts :)

Cathy

Okay, so is there anything "special" about making these? I'd love to give it a try, but don't have a clue where to start

Ronda

Yummy! That is gorgeous!!

Sandi Henderson

i love the scarf! So beautiful! I hear you on the weather. I just blogged about it as well. I know waht you mean about the quilt thing too. I have only made one, and wanted to make one for our bed after seeing one in a fabric store that was so beautiful I was drooling, but decided on a duvet instead. Maybe i will try that quilt after christmas...

Mymsie

The scarf is lovely and I triple-chocolate-dip LOVE all your creations. My current faves are these:

Gorgeous scarf, I love the colours too!

Jody

What a pretty scarf!

Quilting ... I divide them into smaller projects - quilt top, making the "sandwich", quilting, and binding. Sometimes choosing and cutting fabrics is it's one project too. Helps meet my instant gratification needs.

Niesz Vintage Home

I have the same problem. I would love to quilt, but know my personality.
I like the "instant gratification" projects.
When I feel the urge to quilt I make patchwork pillows. :)

Love your scarf! Maybe I'll try something like that next time.

BTW, its in the 80's and 90's here, too!
Kimberly :)

Your scarf is scrumptious! Love that pleating at the ends. Enjoyed all the goodies on your previous post. Happy Weekend to you & yours ((HUGS))

That is definitely a sassy scarf. I got on a scarf kick year before last, and let me tell you they are addictive. Just seeing yours is bringing back the itch to make some more. :)

Sandy

What a beautiful scarf! My colors too. About quilting ... you should start with a small project, like a quilted pillow or quilted wall hanging. It helps to take a class as well. If you start with a giant quilt you will most likely NOT like quilting & NOT finish it. My 2 cents from a 30 yr quilter : )

I love Denyse Schmidt's work, she is an inspiration. How about trying some doll or baby quilt? I love these sizes! I have short attention span too lol

Steph

It's so decadent! I love the ruffles and that floral fabric is gorgeous!! Who is it by?

monica

very chic!

Louise

Wow!! I seen so many of these scarves - made a few myself - but this is just so unique. You are an amazing artist! I am sure you could knock up a queen size quilt in no time. I have a non-sewing girlfriend who just did a single bed quilt over a couple of weeks including the hand quilting!! I want you to do it because I so want to see what amazingly creative and stunning quilt you would come up with!!

melissa deakin

oh my goodness, lisa!
this is so gorgeous.
those colors...amazing together and your little details that are such a signature of your work...incredible!
:)

adrienne
