Fabric from 2 of my favorite guys: Kaffe Fassett and Joel Dewberry. The Dewberry Red and White one:
Again with the math. Originally the patchwork chevron pattern was supposed to be on both sides, but couldn't figure out how to do the 60 deg. mirror image. So I flipped it to the other side, and just did some accent hand stitching to balance out the heavy patterning. I actually think I prefer this design since the allover pattern might have been to much. Serendipity as they say.
Kaffe Fassett is such a genius to me. I love the rich saturated colors in his fabrics. I've combined luscious berry shades with cool linen and a green/blue shot cotton binding. The foxgloves applique are from another of his fabrics. I used a pretty caramel polka dot for the lining, because I thought it looked really good. I don't know why, but it just did. In my humble opinion.
Both are listed in the shop. Have a great weekend my friends.

WOW, the Dewberry Red is STUNNING!

Love them both! I especially like the bags you've recently added with the oversized "snap over" pieces.
